Bill Snyder has spent 27 years over two stints at Kansas State, but the 78-year-old head coach isna€™t eyeing retirement in the immediate future.

According toA Kellis RobinettA of theA Wichita Eagle, Snyder seemed a€œdownright energetica€ and wouldna€™t put a timeline on the end of his coaching career.

a€œI COULD GO ON FOR QUITE SOME TIME, IF I DONa€™T GET FIRED AND KEEP HAVING AN IMPACT ON THE PLAYERS IN MY PROGRAM AND MY FAMILY IS COMFORTABLE WITH IT. I DONa€™T SEE ANY PARTICULAR END IN SIGHT.a€

Snyder added that when a recruit asks whether hea€™ll still be around in five years, he replies that a€œI have no intention not to be.a€
