Drake London, a dual-sport athlete from Moorpark, committed to USC for both football and basketball on Wednesday.

London is a part of the class of 2019, an incoming senior at Moorpark High, and considered a top prospect in both sports. The 247 Sportsa€™ composite rankings list London as a four-star wide receiver and rank him in the top 75 nationally in basketball, where the 6-foot-4 recruit is a shooting guard.

His scholarship is to count toward the 85 allotted football scholarships for football, not the 13 given toward basketball.

If London appears in games for both sports, as expected, he will become USCa€™s first letterman in football and basketball since Jordan Cameron in 2009. The Trojansa€™ tight end appeared briefly in three games for the basketball team during its 2008-09 season. Former football player Zach Banner, an offensive tackle, practiced with the basketball team in 2012-13 and was listed on the roster, but never appeared in games.
