Michigan TE Devin Asiasi wanted to go back to the West Coast. It looks like hes found a home.

UCLA announced on Thursday that Asiasi has transferred from Ann Arbor to play for the Bruins. The news doesnt come as too big of a surprise, as Asiasi is a native Californian and reports last month indicated he was looking to transfer.

Asiasi had 2 catches for 18 yards and a touchdown as a freshman for the Wolverines last season, though he did play in all 13 games for Michigan.

Put my faith in HIM & never question his doings, Asiasi wrote on Twitter. Blessed & Humbled to have this opportunity.

Asiasi is more known as a blocking tight end than a go-to target in the passing attack. A former 4-star recruit from the 2016 class, Asiasi played at Northern California high school power Concord De La Salle. He was rated by 247Sports Composite as Californias No. 12 recruit, the nations No. 3 tight end and the No. 75 overall player in 2016.
